Street fortune tellers, trust scammers, sectarians and other “comrades” who practice a not entirely honest lifestyle, in addition to an intuitive knowledge of human psychology, are endowed with a hypnotic gift. By putting the victim into a trance, they shamelessly rob him dry or impose the necessary behavioral guidelines. For this reason, I would like to develop a technique for exiting a hypnotic state.
There is another situation: someone, having read books on hypnosis, decided to conduct an experiment in practice. And if he succeeded in putting the test subject into a trance, then serious problems arose with the withdrawal. Here, too, you will need knowledge of how to bring a hypnotized person into a “working” state. However, before understanding the trance withdrawal technique, it is necessary to study how hypnotization occurs.
What is hypnosis and how to use it?
Experts clearly define hypnosis as a technique for influencing the human psyche. A hypnotized person can be given certain information that will radically change his behavior style and habits. As a rule, a hypnosis session is carried out on a voluntary basis. They try to hypnotize a person without his consent in case of resistance to the patient’s treatment or in an attempt to win him over to his side in a controversial issue.
Overt and covert hypnosis
An explicit hypnotic session occurs with the consent of the person. This allows you to quickly put him into a trance because he is ready for such a state and does not offer resistance. This method is practiced by psychotherapists in the treatment of various phobias, complexes and addictions.
Hypnosis, in its hidden form, is used extremely rarely for the reason that influencing a person against his will is an extremely difficult task. In order to suggest something to a person in a hidden form, it is necessary to prepare special conditions and establish reliable contact with the object.
In covert hypnosis, the victim is given unconscious thoughts that are disguised as normal conversation. Contact may be made by telephone or other means of communication. In order for the influence on a person to bring results, he must see the hypnotist or hear his voice.
For therapeutic purposes, with covert hypnosis, the patient is put into a semi-trance state, concentrating all his attention on the words of the psychotherapist.
Since it is extremely difficult to establish reliable contact with a resisting person, they resort to additional manipulations:
- influence by voice while conducting a monotonous conversation;
- distract attention through casual conversation or other activities;
- use verbal techniques to help put a person into a trance;
- create the effect of surprise or shock the hypnotized person.
If a person does not know that he was hypnotized, then after the session he will feel confused. He cannot be left alone in this state and must be given time to recover. Hypnosis in any form is strictly prohibited for epileptics, schizophrenics and other people suffering from mental disorders.
Introduction to Hypnotic Trance
It makes no sense to consider ways of putting a person who has given consent into a hypnotic trance. These techniques are described in detail in the works of famous psychotherapists and practicing hypnotists. We will talk about working with a person at a distance, since it requires the establishment of a special connection.
It is highly advisable that the hypnotist first get to know the person. Otherwise, given the person’s resistance, it will be difficult or even impossible to establish correct contact. In any case, the work will require much more time and effort.
At a distance, a person is put into a trance using triggers that were worked out with the person before the hypnosis session. They can be certain words, movements or gestures, when used, the hypnotized person is immersed in a half-asleep state.
In overt hypnosis, the suggestibility of the individual is of great importance, but for covert manipulation this becomes a key point. Therefore, before conducting a session, it is advisable to carefully study the person, analyze his habits and behavior.
Difficulties of working at a distance
The basis of hypnotic influence on a person is suggestion, putting a certain thought or program into the consciousness. The consciousness of the person being hypnotized is completely switched off and the person loses the ability to critically evaluate incoming information. For him, after awakening, everything embedded in him during the session will become a guide to action. Under ideal conditions of voluntary hypnosis, the hidden form is much more difficult to implement.
It is difficult for a person to disconnect from external stimuli, street noise or strangers. It is most difficult to distract his attention when the hypnotized person does not understand what is happening to him.
How successful the hidden hypnotic effect will be depends on many factors. Suggestibility is influenced by the environment in which the session is conducted. In addition, it is important to ensure the correct mood of the hypnotized person, which is necessary, but difficult given the secrecy of the influence.
Close contact is also important, since as the distance between the hypnotist and people increases, the power of suggestion decreases. Of course, a lot depends on the professionalism of the hypnotist himself; professionals with extensive experience are able to make hypnotic suggestions at a fairly large distance. Quite often, to facilitate influence at a distance, text, audio and video materials are used.
This is precisely the method of influence that scammers use in pursuit of their own selfish goals. However, the consequences of such exposure are unpredictable.
Trying to hypnotize a person from a distance is fraught with unpredictable consequences. If the session was conducted incorrectly or in an inappropriate environment, it will be almost impossible to predict further behavior and changes in personality. It is even more difficult to bring a person out of a trance after he has been hypnotized without him becoming aware of the influence.

Religion also “lowers” people’s self-awareness by suggesting: “You are sinners!”, ignoring the teaching of Jesus: “You are gods!” The other day a religious clergyman came to me with a complaint about energy deficiency, which prevents him from earning money by treating the sick. (“A drowning man clutches at a straw”). I advised him to find another source of income. “The blind cannot lead the blind,” so the sick cannot heal the sick. Intellectually, he himself understands this, but his weak energy potential, coupled with the relativity of consciousness (what will the church say?) does not allow him to take this decisive step. Many adults, especially men, will think that this does not apply to them. Perhaps, but this does not apply to your children. They are much more suggestible than you, and remember: when you scold them, you are delaying their development, which you, of course, do not want, but out of habit you do. And many parents don’t even know this. But, unlike them, the Creator, you see, is wiser, and He wants humanity, stuck in childhood, to grow up sooner. And therefore He replaced the Old Testament tactics of education with fear for stimulation with love and calls: “Love everyone, even your enemies, just as I love you.” “Love and everything will follow!” And here is what Gaia says on the issue of the relativity of consciousness:
You are used to depending on the opinions of others. The eyes of others are mirrors, and you look at yourself through someone else's eyes. These eyes are manipulating you. But they only see the outer, physical part of you. They cannot see your inner self. They reflect your wealth, your clothes, your face, but not your soul. And when, based on your appearance, they believe that you are poor and unhappy, then you are confirmed in the thought: in order to become rich and happy, you need to have a lot of visible material wealth and look good. This hypnosis is the reason why people influence you by giving this or that impression. As a result, your main concern is not how to live a rich life, but how to impress others that you are rich. People spend all their energy trying to impress others as rich. An educated or spiritual person. For this they manipulate others, but most of all they deceive themselves. You don't have your own identity. You only have opinions that other people have about you. Someone said that “you are bad” and you feel offended. And soon, indeed, you become “bad” in your own eyes. It turns out that you are just a collection of other people's opinions. You don't know who you are. You only know what others say about you. And this is scary, because these others, who think so much about what you are, also do not know themselves. They only know themselves through you. An interesting but meaningless game: I know myself through you, you know yourself through me, and neither I nor you know who we really are.
Identification is a product of the relativity of consciousness. We are where our consciousness is transferred. If it lingers often and for a long time on something or someone, then it becomes identified with him. During identification, diffusion occurs, information is exchanged, and a weak consciousness is infected by a strong one: “Whoever you mess with, you’ll pick up.” This happens most intensely in childhood. By identifying with their parents, they become like the parent with whom they have more contact. Parents and teachers even use the method of imitation: “Take an example from such and such.” But if a child has high energy, then he begins to show negativism, i.e. do the opposite. Sometimes not only the character changes, but also the appearance. People become like their favorite animals, and they become like their owner. But if identification occurs with individual consciousness, then, of course, consciousness very quickly becomes identified with a more powerful, collective consciousness called the morality of society. In fact, his entire consciousness is not his own, but social, because the child enters the world as a “blank slate” and is filled with the consciousness of society as he learns. And when a person says: “My opinion,” then this is complete absurdity. His opinion is the opinion of the society in which he lives. But he has become so identified with it that he already accepts it as his own. It turns out to be a dead end. On the one hand, we become infected with the collective consciousness, regardless of us, according to the law of diffusion. On the other hand, having realized our dependence and lack of freedom, we understand that collective ascension is problematic. Even Jesus said about this: “Save yourself...” and showed it with his life: “I am the way, the truth and the life,” how to become “not of this world.” Collective consciousness is very inert and does not lend itself to rapid change. What to do? Apparently, in order to overcome it, you need to become stronger than it. Just like, for example, to go into outer space, you need a force that overcomes gravity. But let's listen to what Gaia says about the relativity of consciousness and subsequent identification:
You live in a sick society where people are angry, hateful, and even enjoy hurting others. This is the surface level that is easy to understand. But there are also subtle levels, so-called ideas, that create a feeling of guilt in you and condemn you to be a sinner. These ideas create suffering around you. And the older the idea, the easier it is for people to accept it. For thousands of years people have been repeating it: “We are conceived in sin, we live in sin... The Scriptures cannot be mistaken.” But people get used to suffering because it is reinforced by the collective consciousness. If you are unhappy, everyone sympathizes with you, thereby feeding and growing your suffering. And no one sympathizes with a happy person. When you are happy, people envy, not sympathize or empathize. You are under hypnosis, as if in a dream, so you are not able to live consciously and fully enjoy the moments of real life. You are dominated by the programs and stereotypes of thinking and behavior instilled in you. You think you are intelligent and conscious, but in reality all these are just automated programs. Many of these behavioral patterns may have been useful for adaptation to earthly life at one time, but they are no longer effective. And, in fact, they are already starting to destroy you. We can say that you live in a situation of mass madness and contribute to its preservation. You may say that you do not feel hypnotized. Of course you don't feel it. You think of hypnosis as something extraordinary, and about your everyday state as ordinary (interestingly, people are even afraid of therapeutic, positive hypnosis, but do not even suspect that they are under the suggestion of a collective consciousness that nothing more than the same hypnosis, only even stronger). You can only become aware that you are in a state of hypnosis by thinking about it and analyzing your behavior, and by experiencing rare moments of wakefulness. But “they knock out wedge with wedge” and “they beat the enemy with his own weapon.” You can erase an outdated program that is slowing down your evolution using the same hypnosis, only your own - self-hypnosis. Constantly think and act contrary to outdated, collective consciousness. Empathize when other people are happy, admire the successes of other people. By doing this, you reinforce their joy and success and become infected with positivity and optimism. Feed people's joy and don't feed sadness and suffering. Be compassionate towards the unfortunate, but know: they chose their suffering themselves and they themselves must get rid of it. No one will make anyone happy, only himself.

If the patient is easily put into a trance state, then the treatment of psychosomatic diseases is not difficult. All fears and phobias have a starting point and it is usually located in the center of a strong emotional event. Having found this point, the psychotherapist can easily relieve the patient’s anxious state.
To conduct an effective hypnosis session, it is important that the person can enter a trance state.
With the help of hypnosis, long-standing psychological traumas are eliminated, which are gradually reflected at the level of the physical body. Having found a key event, the psychotherapist changes the patient’s perception of it and establishes new attitudes. How do you know when you're too close to the fire? Feeling hot, of course! But what if you can’t feel the warmth? You'd probably only realize you were burning when you smelled your frying flesh. And many people go through life in such a deep trance that they simply do not understand how they are looking for problems on their own heads until they get into these problems. They no longer know how they feel, what they want or need!
A small child hears his parents arguing, and it makes him scared. Their words do not agree with each other, and the child is confused. They send incongruous signals and anxiety rises to painful levels. One day, the child will discover that by “stepping back” and withdrawing into himself, he feels better... for a while. “If I don’t feel it, hear it or see it, it won’t get me.” This is how a trance state is born! Of course, if a truck is flying towards you and you prefer not to see or hear it, you will certainly feel it. Your trance state simply will not allow you to move out of its path.
The child enters a new exciting world called “school”. He is curious and open to learning new things. “Children, you should all sit like this, always raise your hand, there is always one right way to do things, and of course, there is always only one right answer!” - says an adult who is called the Teacher. Day after day the child sees different things, but he is told that they do not really exist. He feels - but he is told that feelings are not reality, and that he does not know what he feels in the first place. The secret to survival? Go into a trance! The result is that, years later, you don't feel what you could have felt, you don't hear what you should have heard, and you don't see what you should have seen. Frustration, failure and pain are your constant companions.
The secret is... to get out of the trance! You need to learn to ask questions, questions, and more questions. You cannot believe what the trance state makes you see, hear or feel. Today, when you go to bed, sleep on the other side of the bed. Sit somewhere else when you go to eat. Risky people may try to eat with their left hand (and left-handed people with their right). Read the book... from the last page to the first, write down dialogues with those people with whom you are the worst at communicating. Look for problem areas instead of avoiding them, then try to find the three most unusual ways to solve each problem. Place a rubber bracelet on your wrist and tug on it every time you feel yourself “pulling away.”
Learn to talk to the parts of yourself that know the difference between trance and what is happening around you. For example, imagine that you begin to feel anxious. Ask your inner guide to turn the sensation into a picture: first, a picture of what the sensation itself looks like, then ask it to change the picture so that it helps determine what is really happening inside you (or with you). Ways to bring a person out of hypnosis
Having understood how a person is put into a hypnotic trance, we can begin to consider ways to bring him into a normal state.
Removing a person from hypnotic sleep
In order to bring a person out of a state of hypnotic sleep, the following rules must be followed:
- The withdrawal should be done slowly and without rushing.
- The hypnotist tells the person that he will now wake up on the count of “ten” and begins a calm countdown. The person slowly awakens as the hypnologist slowly counts. Some experts practice counting backwards.
- Before leaving the hypnotic trance, you are given a focus on feeling good, cheerful and energetic.
- At the end of the countdown, the hypnotized person comes to his senses. There are situations when awakening does not occur and in this case, the person is left alone. After a few minutes, he wakes up on his own.
Also, after waking up, a hypnotized person may experience discomfort in sensations, attacks of nausea, panic and dizziness. Then he is again put into a hypnotic trance and instructed that there are no unpleasant symptoms. A pronounced negative reaction to hypnosis occurs in people suffering from mental disorders. Most specialists refuse to work with such patients.
When removing a person from hypnosis that was imposed by another specialist, it is necessary to find out what method was used and what goal was pursued. To do this, a person is immersed in a hypnotic trance and the previously established settings are found. Further, they are changed or completely deleted. It is better to entrust such actions to a professional psychotherapist who practices hypnotic techniques.
Self-exit from hypnotic sleep
You can plunge into a hypnotic trance, independently and when exiting such a state, the following recommendations are observed:
- The return to wakefulness should occur slowly in a period of time sufficient for full awakening.
- Before leaving, an internal setting is given to awaken and increase breathing.
- As with exiting with the help of a hypnologist, in self-hypnosis a command is given for good health, cheerfulness and clarity of thoughts.
- To control the situation, a countdown to ten is carried out.
Often, when independently exiting a hypnotic trance, a person simply goes into normal sleep mode and wakes up after about half an hour.
Blocking hypnotic influence
Hypnotic influence at a distance is widely used during negotiations, interrogations, sales promotions, sectarian gatherings and meetings of network companies. The methodology comes down to distracting attention and introducing the necessary attitude into the subconscious. At the same time, the victim does not fall into a deep trance.
To achieve the goal, techniques such as:
- Conducting a conversation in a monotonous voice, without intonation and quietly, inserting key phrases during the conversation. They are emphasized by changes in intonation and volume, which allows for a fixation in the subconscious of the person listening.
- Overload of the human perception channel. The simplest technique is when two people start talking at the same time, convincing a person and his auditory perception channel is overloaded.
- Creating situations that are illogical and unexpected for a person.
In sects, another technique is more common - searching for a sore spot in a person and putting pressure on him in order to subordinate him to his will. For this purpose, people who have suffered psychological trauma or are in a painful state are specially selected.
In order to determine whether external hypnotic influence is being carried out, it is necessary to listen to your inner feelings. A clear sign of hypnosis is:
- slight drowsiness that comes suddenly;
- body relaxation;
- reducing the frequency of respiratory cycles and increasing the depth of breathing.
The most effective way to escape hypnotic influence is to abruptly break contact with the one who is trying to exert influence. To do this you need:
- Give yourself a painful sensation by pinching your arm or stepping on your foot.
- If the situation does not allow you to leave, then you need to stop focusing on the person’s words and not look into his eyes.
- Mentally begin to read poetry, sing a song or say a prayer.
- Start building a protective screen in your mind out of rain bricks or similar.
- Do not make hasty decisions if you feel obvious pressure.
- During gypsy hypnosis, you should not allow yourself to be taken by the hand and be distracted. Also, you should ignore all questions and not answer them.
- Focus on your own words and voice.
How not to succumb to covert hypnosis
To understand how to resist covert hypnosis, you need to understand what it is. This type of hypnosis is found everywhere: advertising, watching television, newspapers, communicating with sales consultants in a store. To resist the influence, you need to recognize it. What actions indicate that they are trying to manipulate you:
- Large flow of information. It has been proven that if you simultaneously influence different feelings of a person, he falls into a stress mode, ceasing to navigate what is happening. There is a milder form of this technique. It is typical for mass events, rallies, and advertising campaigns: you are given a large amount of all kinds of information, and upon completion you realize that you have not received answers to your questions.
- Violation of personal boundaries. Note that almost anyone trying to convince you of something will get too close, perhaps even touching you.
- Impact on hearing. Experienced speakers know: if the manner of speaking attracts attention, then people will listen. To do this, they use all the methods from a quiet monotonous muttering, which you need to listen to, to a pleasant voice.
- Changing the target. A typical situation when you go to the store for an inexpensive shampoo, and leave it with a whole arsenal of premium hair care products? Experienced sellers of goods and services often trade in this way.
- Creating a stressful, non-standard situation.
Knowing the basic techniques of hidden influence, you can develop your own strategy of confrontation.
- The simplest and most effective way is to leave.
- Don't be afraid to say no.
- Don't let anyone violate your boundaries.
